ANKARA
Consumer prices index (CPI) and producer prices index (PPI) dropped in July 2012 compared to June 2012.
TurkStat, Turkey's statistical authority, said on Friday that CPI decreased 0.23 percent and PPI decreased 0.31 percent in July 2012.
CPI increased 9.07 percent and PPI rose 6.13 percent in July 2012 when compared to July 2011, said TurkStat.
On 12-month basis, annual inflation was 9.11 percent in CPI, and 9.88 percent in PPI, it added.
