Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will pay a visit to New York on March 3-7 to hold financial talks and attend a series of meetings with specialists in finance and investment.
Davutoglu is expected to meet financial and investment circles as part of the second leg of an investors conference that was held in London in January, Turkish prime ministry sources said Tuesday.
He will also hold talks with direct investors and portfolio investors.
Apart from limited participation meetings with financial circles as G20 term president since December 1, the premier will also hold private talks with major investors.
During his visit, Davutoglu is scheduled to meet UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on March 5 to discuss global issues including Syria, Iraq and Cyprus.
He will also attend a series of meetings at think tanks and meet representatives of U.S. media outlets.
Prime ministry sources also said the visit is limited to New York and no meetings with U.S. officials are scheduled.
