Three people were killed and six others wounded in a car bomb attack at a checkpoint located between Kirkuk and the town of Tuz Khurmatu on Tuesday.
“A suicide bomber detonated a car bomb at a checkpoint between Tuz Khurmatu and Kirkuk. Three members of the security forces lost their lives, and six people were wounded,” Mayor of Tuz Khurmatu Shelal Abdul told AA.
In another attack in Kirkuk on the same day, the explosives on a suicide bomber killed by police at a Shiite mosque detonated, wounding 5 people.
