Iraqi Presidential Press Spokesman, Barzan Sheikh Othman told AA that Talabani's doctors decided to transfer the president to Germany for further treatment.
Othman has said, "Doctors said that the president is improving however they decided to continue with his treatment in Germany. Talabani will be taken to Germany's capital Berlin tomorrow."
Earlier on Wednesday, Turkish President Abdullah Gul sent an invitation to his Iraqi counterpart Jalal Talabani to come to Turkey for his medical treatment.
