Heads of state from several countries located in the southeastern Europe have gathered for the first day events of Brdo Process Summit to hold discussions on bilateral relations between countries in the region and enlargement policies of the European Union.
The meeting, the highest-level unofficial forum between Southeastern Europe countries and EU members, is attended by presidents of hosting Slovenia, France, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Albania. The summit includes a separate event for foreign ministers.
Slovenian President Borut Pahor and French President Francois Hollande are expected to hold a joint press conference following the summit.
Brdo Process Summit is intended to provide a common platform for exchanging ideas on how to solve issues in bilateral relations, and set priorities for economy and infrastructure to the best interest of countries in the region.
