VIENNA
The United Nations nuclear watchdog has extended its chief's term of office by four years.
In a meeting, Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, or IAEA, re-elected Yukiya Amano as the director general and if the IAEA's General Conference confirms, he will remain in office until November 30, 2017.
His term would originally expire on December 1, 2013.
