Iran agreed on limiting some of its nuclear activities in exchange for eased sanctions with the five permanent members of the United Nations (UN) Security Council- the US, UK, France, Russia and China- plus Germany, in Geneva on November 24.
Davutoglu met with Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri. Talks touched on bilateral economic relations, energy and transportation, said diplomatic sources.
"Turkey is determined to increase trade volume between the two countries to over $30 billion and it aims to increase this figure to $100 billion by 2020," Davutoglu said.
Noting that Turkish companies face some problems in Iran, Davutoglu said "solving these problems will enhance the trade volume and Turkey is ready to cooperate to solve these problems."
Meanwhile, Jahangiri said removing obstacles before Turkish companies is Iran's one of the most important priorities.
