Two first-half goals paved the way for a comfortable win for three-time European champions Spain who hit Luxembourg 4-0 in their Group C UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier.
Manchester City attacking midfielder David Silva and Valencia forward Paco Alcacer's goals in the first half saw Spain take charge of the away fixture early.
Chelsea striker Diego Costa and Bayern Munich defender Juan Bernat's goals in the second half wrapped up victory for the Spaniards who now become Group C runners-up by goal average.
In Group E, England narrowly defeated Estonia 1-0 in Tallinn. Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney's goal from a free kick in 74th minute saved the day for the English. The unconvincing win leaves England with 9 points, topping the group.
