Anadolu Agency Directorate General initiated a legal action against people who allegedly said PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s pictures in the Sakarya meeting were photomontage.
AA will be suing 39 people who cited “photomontage” comments for “Damaging brand value, reputation and honor and dignity of AA”.
AA’s petition calls for further action against the crime of ‘spreading hatred’.
AA Directorate General will open a trial against tweets published on websites, causing pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages to AA’s corporation rights.
Attack on AA crew
An AA photographer and cameraman were attacked in Izmir and Ankara while shooting an unauthorized demonstration. AA announced that it would follow the legal process to press charges against the attackers.
