Cairo (AA) - Egypt's contstitutional court ruled that the laws governing the election of members of Shura Council,upper house of parliament was illegal and suspended a third of the new parliament.
The court will implement the decision to dissolve the Shura after the new elections.
The court also ruled that the committee assigned to prepare a draft constitution was illegal.
Parliamentary elections ara planned to be held in October in Egypt.
