Fenerbahce FC said on Thursday the resignation club's coach Aykut Kocaman was approved by the board of directors.
"Fenerbahce Coach Aykut Kocaman has stepped down from his post, submitting a letter of resignation which was accepted by the board of directors" the club said in a statement.
Club's Vice President Abdullah Kigili said on Wednesday that they began searching for a new coach.
