ISTANBUL (AA) - Heavy rain in Istanbul since early morning caused floods taking over roads and bringing life to halt on Friday.
Underpasses have been flooded and motor vehicles got stuck on roads and firefigters pulled the vehicles out of the water.
Flooding blocked roads and the drivers were stranded in their vehicles in long queues.
Houses and work places have also been flooded in several neighborhoods.
