The number of airplanes landed in and took off on June 29 reached the all-time high with 937 airplanes and the number of tourists arrived in Turkey's touristic province, Antalya reached the highest figures in June.
Osman Serdar, general director of Antalya airport of the State Airports Management General Directorate (DHMI) told AA that 71,745 tourists arrived in Turkey and 71,225 tourists departed from Turkey.
The number of airplanes landed in and took off on June 29 reached all-time high with 937 airplanes in Antalya airport, said Serdar.
Serdar also noted that in domestic flights, around 20,000 passangers used Antalya airport.
Antalya airport's 30-day air traffic in June, 1.4 million people in 2010, 1.5 million in 2011 and 1.521 million people arrived in Antalya, said Serdar.
"Even though there is one more day to complete the month of June in 2013, 1.6 million people arrived in Antalya," Serdar said.
Serdar added the total number of tourists arrived in Antalya during last 6 months is 4.3 million.
