ANKARA
Palestinian Embassy in the Turkish capital, Ankara issued a statement, condemning the latest Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip.
"Palestine condemns in the strongest terms Israel's brutal attacks in its military operation on Gaza. We call on international community not to remain an onlooker to the developments. We also call on the United Nations, the European Union and the Arab League to live up to their responsibilities in preserving peace and security," the statement said.
The statement said the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip was "a new instance of the Israel's hostile policies and its brutality. It puts security and stability in the entire region in jeopardy."
Three more Palestinians were killed early on Thursday in a drone strike, as the total death count rose to eleven on the second day of Israel's offensive on Gaza.
Israeli war planes also hit 25 targets over the night as Hamas' military wing, al-Qassam Brigades, said it fired 10 Grad missiles on Israel's Be'er Sheva city and three others on Tel Aviv. Three Israelis were killed in the town of Kiryat Malachi.
Al-Qassam Brigades had vowed retaliation after an Israeli air strike killed on Wednesday their commander Ahmed Jabari in Gaza.
