ANKARA
Turkish Interior Minister Muammer Guler on Wednesday stated that there were serious findings in regards to Tuesday night's attacks on the ruling AK Party headquarters and Turkish Ministry of Justice building and said, "Our police force has shed light on many incidents previously and I believe they will do the same for the recent attacks. There is strong possibility pointing at DHKP-C."
Guler answered the questions of journalists in regards to the attacks on the ruling AK Party headquarters and Turkish Ministry of Justice in Ankara.
Upon being asked of whether there was any evidence as to who staged the attacks, Guler said, "There is strong possibility of terrorist organizations, especially pointing at DHKP-C."
Stating that there were no detainees, Guler said, "I won't say that timing carries a meaning because terrorist organizations attempt to do the same in every opportunity they get. Especially DHKP-C has carried out acts at different times. There are also recent operations conducted against the DHKP-C by Turkish security forces," the minister said.
