PARIS
Around one thousand supporters of the terrorist organization PKK held a rally in the French capital of Paris on Friday to protest the killing of three Kurdish women in Paris on late Wednesday.
At the forefront of the PKK cortege were the Chairman of Turkey's Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) Selahattin Demirtas and Deputy Chairperson of BDP, Gultan Kisanak.
Demirtas, Kisanak and the group of PKK supporters walked until the Kurdish Information Center where the killings took place. Demirtas and Kisanak left flowers in front of the center and received information on the killings from Kurdish representatives of various associations.
Sakine Cansiz, Fidan Dogan and Leyla Soylemez were killed on Wednesday evening at the Kurdish Information Center. They were shot in head and their bodies were found around 2.00 a.m.
Demirtas holds French intelligence responsible
On the other hand, addressing a group of people in front of the Ahmet Kaya Culture Center in Paris, Demirtas held the French intelligence responsible for the assassination of the three Kurdish women.
"No one should try to explain to us that the assassinations took place without the knowledge of the French intelligence. This is a busy avenue and no one can even use a pop gun here without the knowledge of the French intelligence. We expect the French intelligence to share all information and documents that they have on Wednesday's killings with the public as soon as possible," Demirtas also said.
