ANKARA (AA) - March 27, 2013 - Turkish Minister of Justice Sadullah Ergin stated that the date for retreating beyond the borders, one of the stages of the process for resolution of the Kurdish problem, was set and related parties had knowledge of it.
Ergin answered the questions in regards to the resolution process at NTV's live program.
Ergin anticipated the stages of the resolution process as non-action, retreat beyond the borders, democratic steps and finally normalization.
Stating that the retreat could be followed by public as it takes place, Ergin added that the retreat would be felt in public.
"Non-action and retreat beyond the borders is to end by the end of summer if all goes well," the minister added.
-Wise men commission-
Upon being asked of when a commission of wise men would be established and whether legal arrangements would be made, Ergin replied, "That group of people called wise men is actually a civil initiative. If you try to bind it with a legal arrangement, it will lose its civilian entity, damaging its functions. It is more meaningful for it to stay as a civil entity, there is no need of any legal arrangement."
-"They will leave the country the same way they entered"-
Ergin also responded to the question of whether the retreat would be armed or not and said, "These issues are not things we can decide on. They will probably leave the country the same way they entered."
