ANKARA
Turkish President Abdullah Gul approved a law which makes it possible for defendants to make defense in Turkish courts in their "mother tongue".
All relevant translators will be chosen from a list prepared by the provincial judicial committees.
The law also lets inmates to meet with their spouses in a private setting as reward.
