ANKARA
Turkey has spent more than 200 million USD for Syrians who entered Turkey after fleeing clashes in their country since April 2011.
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA), the Chairman of the Turkish Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) Fuat Oktay said that Turkey provided temporary right for taking shelter in Turkey for more than 50,000 Syrians.
Nearly 32,000 Syrians currently live in camps erected by the AFAD in four provinces, Oktay stated.
We are meeting all humanitarian needs of the Syrians in Turkey, Oktay noted.
The camps of Syrians include services such as schools, mosque, police and health facilities, press briefing room, play areas for children, units for watching tv programs, water tanks, purification center and generators, Oktay stressed.
We provide meals to Syrians three times a day, Oktay also said.
