Turkey's chief of General Staff participated in the Sixth Annual Conference of Chiefs of Staff Conference from Balkan Countries in Sofia, Bulgaria on Wednesday.
The conference began with opening remarks of Bulgarian Chief of Staff Simeon Simeonov, who said that no country could take its national security under guarantee on its own in this modern and complicated world.
Simeonov said countries could only take efficient measures against threats if they cooperated.
The conference is expected to end with a joint declaration later on Wednesday.
