LEIPZIG
Turkish Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs, & Communications Binali Yildirim on Thursday said that policies pursued by Turkey were taken as an example by the world.
Yildirim delivered a speech at the Annual Summit of Transport Ministers of the International Transport Forum in the German city of Leipzig.
Yildirim provided information on financing Turkey's infrastructure on land, air and sea transport to the ministers attending from various countries around the world.
Speaking to journalists following his speech, Yildirim touched on the Bulgaria land route especially used by Turks living in Europe on their way back to Turkey. Yildirim said that the authorities were going to be more careful at checkpoints and the problems were to be cleared once the government was established in Bulgaria.
Yildirim and the accompanying delegation held bilateral talks with their Moroccan and Tunisian counterparts as part of the forum and then returned to Turkey.
