ANKARA
The Chairman of the Confederation of Public Servants Trade Unions, or Memur-Sen, Ahmet Gundogdu said that they decided to send 200,000 Turkish liras as assistance to the Muslims in Myanmar.
Speaking to reporters at a fast-breaking meal in Ankara, Gundogdu said that the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar were held under pressure by the Budhist administrations.
"As 11 unions and the confederation, we have decided to send 200,000 Turkish liras to the Muslims of Myanmar," Gundogdu stressed.
