ANKARA
Members of the Executive Board of the Anadolu Agency (AA) and staff members came together at a fast-breaking meal in Ankara.
Speaking after the fast-breaking meal, the Chairman of the Executive Board and Director General of the AA, Kemal Ozturk wished that the holy month of Ramadan brings blessings and richness to all the AA staff members, their families and friends.
"I ask for God's urgent help to those Muslims experiencing difficulty and pain in various geographies of the Islamic world. I do wish that God helps the Muslims in Syria, Iraq and Myanmar, and brings richness to their tables and accepts their prayers," Ozturk stressed.
"What we have to do is to write news stories on the pain of our brothers and sisters. We are trying to do that in the best way possible. God willing, we want our news stories to help our brothers and sisters. We do hope that the problems of our brothers and sisters get solved and they reach tranquility," Ozturk underlined.
"We are obligated to write the news stories of those individuals suffering in Arakan, Myanmar, Japan, China and elsewhere. We have to do so based on the blood we are carrying and the faith we have," Ozturk noted.
"We are the only organization in the world which talks about the humanitarian drama of those in Myanmar in five different languages," Ozturk also said.
