Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc met separately with Yemeni President Abd al-Rab Mansur al-Hadi and Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindawa on the second day of his visit in capital Sana'a.
Arinc's meetings with the two Yemeni leaders were held closed to press.
The Turkish deputy minister earlier participated in the 3rd Turkish-Yemeni Business Council meeting and in the 6th Joint Economic Committee meeting.
Speaking to reporters after his meetings, Arinc said he delivered Turkish President Abdullah Gul's letter to al-Hadi seeking support for Yemeni support for Turkey's candidacy to host the 2020 EXPO as well as Turkey's bid for a non-permanent seat at the United Nations Security Council for 2015-2016.
After the meetings Arinc also addressed Turkish and Yemeni businesspeople at a luncheon.
Arinc also participated in meetings of the Turkish-Yemeni Business Council and the Joint Economic Committee between the two countries in Sana'a ealier in day.
