Turkish National Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz on Sunday said that the Patriot air systems deployed in Turkey were for defensive purposes.
Speaking to reporters in Aksehir town, Yilmaz stressed that "if no one has the intention to attack Turkey, then the Patriot systems will never be used."
No one should doubt Turkey's good intentions, Yilmaz also said.
