ANKARA
Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is to make an official visit to Germany for high-level talks.
Erdogan will meet with his German counterpart Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday, along with Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Frank Walter Steinmeier, a statement from the prime minister's office said on Thursday.
The visit is expected to further cooperation between the two partner countries and present opportunities to exchange views on international issues.
Germany is Turkey's biggest trading partner, with average trade amounting to around $34 billion.
During the visit, Erdogan will also deliver a speech at the German Council on Foreign Relations, one of the leading think tanks in the country.
He is also expected to meet members of Berlin's Turkish community.
