LUXEMBOURG (AA) - NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen stated Monday they assumed that all alliance members of NATO would act according to basic democratic principles, regarding Gezi Park protests.
Attending the meeting of European Union's (EU) foreign ministers in Luxembourg, Rasmussen stated on Turkey's Gezi Park protests and said, "We do not participate to the domestic policies of Turkey. We assume all alliance members of NATO would act according to basic democratic principles and would allow peaceful protests and freedom of political views' expression."
