KABUL
Afghanistan's first private sports TV channel (Tv 3) began broadcasting.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Chairman of Tv 3, Safikullah Salim Poya said that the new channel will convey the developments in the Afghan sports world to global communities and encourage the Afghan youth to be involved in sports.
The new channel will broadcast 24 hours a day.
Afghanistan has more than 50 local and national TV channels.
