GAZA
Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh received a Malaysian delegation led by the Dean of Medical Faculty, Muhammad Sehrum and a Moroccan delegation co-led by the chairman of a Moroccan parliamentary delegation Abdulaziz Eftati and leader of the Tevhid and Islah Movement, Abdeljalil el-Casini, in Gaza on Sunday.
Thanking the chairmen of the respective delegations for their support to the Palestinian issue and the Palestinian people, Prime Minister Haniyeh said that he informed the two delegations about the necessity of establishing a committee on Jerusalem.
We have to say 'stop' to the Jewish settlements in Jerusalem and to the judaization of Jerusalem, Haniyeh underlined.
Such visits show that Palestine was not alone in its struggle against the occupier and that the whole Islamic ummah is on our side, Haniyeh noted.
Al-Casini, in his part, said that they arrived in Gaza so that the economic and political embargo on Gaza ended.
We will stand against the Israeli tyranny on Palestine and extend support to the Palestinian people as much as we can, al-Casini indicated.
Sehrum, on his part, said that he was very happy to be in Gaza.
"We will always be with the Palestinian people," Sehrum stressed.
Prime Minister Haniyeh decorated Sehrum with the title of "Palestine's Honorary Ambassador".
