Most of Turkish exports in the first 5 months of 2012 went to Germany.
In this period, Turkish exports to Germany were worth 5.5 billion USD and to Iraq were 4.1 billion USD.
According to records of the Assembly of Turkish Exporters (TIM), 5 of the top 10 countries receiving most Turkish exports were EU countries despite the economic crisis in the union.
