Egypt's ex-president Hosni Mubarak and his interior minister are set to appear before a court in a fresh trial on April 13 for charges regarding the killing of protestors during a popular uprising in 2011 which ended his 30-year reign.
Mubarak and his interior minister, Habib el-Adly, were sentenced last June to life in prison but in January this year an Egyptian appeals court overruled the sentence.
El-Adly's six aides will also face the retrial who were acquitted in the initial trial.
