Ramallah (AA) - Palestinian prime minister-designate Rami Al Hamdallah said Tuesday he would present his cabinet of 24 ministers on Thursday.
"The new government will work until the unity government that is to be formed according to the agreement signed between Fatah and Hamas starts to rule the country," said Hamdallah.
Hamdallah said the government would follow the policy of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and remain loyal to the program of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO).
Hamdallah, who is rector of the largest university in the West Bank, was assigned by Abbas as the new prime minister late on Sunday.
Former Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad resigned in April.
