ANKARA (AA) - Terrorist Hampig Sasuyan's release demand has been rejected by Parole Board during Wednesday's hearing.
Sasuyan viciously killed Turkey's Consul General in Los Angeles Kemal Arikan in an attack on January 28, 1982.
Turkey's Foreign Ministry stated Thursday that the following release hearing was decided to take place in the next three years of time and added, Sasuyan's demand was rejected twice back in 2006 and 2010.
It was stressed that the rejection of Sasuyan's demand was taken kindly as the decision was to the point of manifestation of justice and principles of combating terrorism.
