Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek referred to Turkey's terror problem and said, "As it is our problem, we are the ones to solve it and when we are doing that we have to know this issue is not an easy one to solve."
Replying the questions of reporters, upon a question about the talks being held in Imrali Island where jailed head of PKK terrorist organization, Abdullah Ocalan stays, Cicek said that the terror problem was an experience in humanity.
Cicek said, "The terror problem is Turkey's problem. As it is our problem, we are the ones to solve it and do not expect anything from somebody else. There might be cooperation with others and ask for their support. They might give their support or not. Well, they did not so far. We have to solve it ourselves. When solving this problem, we have to know that this problem is not an easy one."
He expressed that the the root of the problem in Turkey was not 3, 5 or 10 years old, it was touching to Ottoman times and added that the issue has a historical depth as it was recurring time to time during Republic period.
