ANKARA
Before the Gaziantepspor and Besiktas match kick off on Friday, both teams' walked on the pitch hand-in-hand with Syrian refugee children from camps in Turkey's Gaziantep province.
The project was organized by UNICEF.
Besiktas' footballers held a banner saying, "I Need You," a phrase for the Syrian victims.
Besiktas beat Gaziantepspor 2-1, thanks to goals scored by Turkish players, Olcay Sahan and Omer Sismanoglu.
