NEW YORK (AA) - UN disarmament chief Angela Kane departed from Damascus en route to New York on Friday to share the findings with UN Secretary General while the rest of the UN inspection team in Syria were scheduled to return on Saturday.
Kane left Damascus while the UN inspectors are set to return to the UN's headquarters in New York on Saturday.
UN team in Syria started the inspection on Monday.

UN mission which was inspecting a suspected chemical weapons attack in Syria has completed its collection of samples, said Martin Nesirky, spokesman for the UN secretary-general.
Nesirky told reporters that UN inspectors visited a military hospital in Damascus and met with patients.
They will be leaving Syria on Saturday.
After departing from Damascus on Saturday, UN inspectors will return to Syria to investigate three claims.
