World Bank would donate 6.4 million dollars to Gaza and approved the 500 million dollar loan for Tunisia.
World Bank Gaza and Western Bank Director Meryem Sermin said that they were worried about the lack of clean water in Gaza as waste water is released into the nature or sea. Sermin emphasized this situation threatening both the Palestinians' health and the environment and World Bank would donate 6.4 million dollars to Gaza.
The World Bank also announced that it approved the 500 million dollar loan for Tunisia for the economic development and implementing of fundamental reforms. Financing reforms that encourage fair and sustainable development for all parts of the society is aimed with the loan.
