Golf: 2018 Turkish Airlines Open starts in Antalya

ISTANBUL

2018 Turkish Airlines Open golf tournament started on Thursday in Turkey’s Mediterranean resort city of Antalya.

The tournament -- hosting 78 players for the competition -- will take place between Nov. 1-4 in Regnum Carya Golf & Resort.

The Turkish Airlines Open is part of the Rolex Series, the premium category of events on the European Tour's Race to Dubai.

Justin Rose, the defending champion, Tommy Fleetwood, Ross Fisher, Thomas Bjorn, Jordan Smith, Andrea Pavan are among the participants of the tournament.

Turkish golfers Ali Altuntas, Hakan Yamac Leon Acikalin will also vie against their rivals in the tournament.
