KILIS (AA) - September 6, 2012 - Dutch Foreign Affairs Minister Uriel Rosenthal visited on Thursday a container city where Syrian people are currently staying in the southern province of Kilis.
Governor of Kilis, Suleyman Tapsiz and Kilis Mayor Abdu Bulut welcomed Dutch minister Rosenthal at the entrance of the container city.
On the occasion of the visit, Dutch minister told reporters that Holland had been helping Syrian people for one and half year through United Nations High Commission for Refugees.
"However, we decided to extend 4 million Euros more for those people," said the minister.
Rosenthal also said that he appreciated Turkey's effort to look after Syrian people who left their country following violence in Syria.
