LEFKOSA (AA) - September 6, 2012 - Turkish Cypriot President Dervis Eroglu and Turkish Cypriot Prime Minister Irsen Kucuk on Thursday separately issued messages of condolence to the Turkish nation after 25 Turkish troops were killed in a blast at a military ammunition depot in the western province of Afyonkarahisar on Wednesday night.
Both Turkish Cypriot leaders wished God's mercy to those killed and said that they share the pain of the families of those killed troops and wish speedy recovery to those injured in the blast.
Four other soldiers were lightly wounded in the explosion at a section of the depot where hand grenades were kept.
